NORTHWEST PASSAGE could be a really piping hot, bareback lovers dream, what with it being jam-packed with good looking, hairy, rugged types, and a couple of nice athletic types thrown in for some contrast. But it’s the rather stale camera/editing work that allows it to fall flat.
We follow yummy blonde hitchhiker/back packer, Dolph Lupin, along the forested highway, apparently waiting for a friend to pick him up. Soon, a blue pickup comes along and offers him a ride. The driver is a studly mustachioed hubba hubba, and his passenger a delicious average looking blonde. Lupin refuses the lift, but then he soon finds himself fantasizing about making it with the blonde. Their bodies blend beautifully, their thick cocks stand at perfect, ridged attention, which they suck with sincere passion, and Lupin offers up his pert ass for a very brief fucking. It’s here the camera fails to give us any interesting angles, and the director skimping on the anal goodness.
Lupin returns to the “present” and sets off on his trail before stumbling upon two manly men about to go at it in a tent. They remove their jeans and flannel shirts, and lovingly caress, but the sex goes nowhere. Lupin is then led to have sex with the pickup truck driver, but their scene doesn’t amount to anything.
Lupin meets up with Mountain Man, Big Ed, who sits him by the fire to weave a yarn about “Lewis, the legendary explorer from the 19th century,” (played by Nick Stockwell in his debut…) who takes an Native American Indian (sultry and tight, Mike Rock) on as his boy toy. Just when I thought the sex was going to really going to fly, the plot interferes, and all we get is some so-so oral and anal action. Moreover, we don’t get any action between Big Ed and his newfound blonde backpacker…
Some luscious bodies, big cocks, and interesting plot about a young man’s self discovery shot on location in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State are all on offer, but the sex is uninspiring; thus making this not a pre-condom “classic.”
