This second instalment of Robert Boggs’ Tales, continuing the format of alternating models’ interviews and sexual scenes, is also a summer film, with only two scenes out of 8 shot indoors. With an entirely different cast from the first collection, and many new faces, it revisits some favorite locations and themes from the recent past. Whether it is the dramatic hillside in scene 1 or the hitchhiking motif in scene 4, the viewer is always treated to a new take on a familiar aspect of the director’s world. Most remarkable, maybe, the Red Army episode in scene 7, with the three boys dressed up in military uniforms resurrecting a not so distant past which they are too young to really remember (Sergey’s Russian origins and the lines he speaks in Russian contribute to the strange power of that very hot scene). As in Tales, all the models are different : Ondrej is hip and trendy and Nikolas more down-to-earth and simple, Sebastian is strangely shy and Nick very gay, etc… But like in Tales, they are all lovable and we get this exciting sense of coming closer to who they are. Among all, Dominik Trojan’s beauty and sexual appetite are highlighted in three masterful scenes.
